Objects from the Collection
Oak Alley Foundation’s Research and Collections department is dedicated to understanding the site’s history, preserving objects from that history and sharing both with the public. As our Foundation mission states, we exist, “for the instruction, education, enlightenment, information, edification and cultural benefit of the citizens of the State of Louisiana, the United States and the public generally.” The Department oversees archaeological efforts, research and care of the Collections.
