REOPENING MAY 30, 2020

Oak Alley Plantation Historic Grounds and Gardens will reopen its doors to the public beginning Saturday, May 30, 2020.  The grounds and exhibits will open at 9:00 am to 5:00 pm with the first visit of the "Big House" exhibit beginning at 9:30m and the last visit at 5pm.

** Please be advised that since Uber availabilty in Oak Alley's area is not currently available, it is advised that you find another means of transportation.    Oak Alley Plantation is not responsible for getting you to your next destination if you arrive by Uber. 

A powerful testimony to the rich history of the antebellum south, Oak Alley invites visitors to explore all facets of her plantation past.

Explore 28 historic acres, walk under the the iconic alley and experience the exhibits that share so much of this plantation’s history.

The Oak Alley experience offers visitors am unrestricted opportunity to explore at their own pace (exception: “Big House” exhibit is only at specific times and can be confirmed with you arrive at the mansion). Be sure to allow at least 2 hours for your Oak Alley visit.

Photography and videotaping are welcome except in the mansion, the "Big House" exhibit.

For safety reasons, the use of "drones" or any aerial photography devices is not permitted.
