In the suit numbered 16.744, Henri Jacques Roman and his sister, Marie Octavie Roman Buchanan, were ordered to sell all the tangible and intangible property in question located in St. James Parish formerly owned by their father, Jacques Telesphore Roman. They have declared that the property has been sold, the proceeds settled between them, and everything now belongs to Henri Jacques Roman. The following enslaved people were sold as follows: -Bazile to Sosthene Roman for $2,000. -Pognon and her daughter, Ida to Louis E Faures for $1,900. -Victorine to Wanderlin Doll for $1,040. -Ursin to Ignasious Sziminski for $1,275. -Thisbe to Alexis Ferry for $1,650 -Jeffry, Antoinette, Hyacinthe, Mary, Thereze- and her two children: Roselia and Theophile-, Genovieve, Madeleine, Rosette, Rosalia, and Raphael to Henri Jacques Roman for $14,750.
