Sickness and children. Some drama between Henri and Dr. Blache regarding Pepe. April 15, 1868- Letter from Marie to Therese. Complains of no help and scarlet fever. Wednesday, Sept 2, 1868- Translation from Marie to Therese. Henri and Therese are not on good terms with Alfred, and it is about living situations. Relying on Louise for help in removing themselves from OA. She suggests a house to rent owned by her uncle Saturday, September 12, 1868- Translation of letter from Marie to Therese. Monday 14. She says that everyone is talking about Henri and Therese’s business as if its “over and done with.” Describes the children. Mentions Grandmother Roman. August 15, 1869- Translation of Letter from Louise to Henri. First portion of the letter is religious speak, and the pros and cons of Henri living in town vs. country. She wants Euphemon’s recipe for a dysentery cure. Mentions Emile Reynes. July 10 1869- Translation of letter from Marie to Therese. Marie made a complete trousseau for her new house-servant. An old woman is staying with her so she can go out without all the kids. September 1869- Transcription but not translation of letter from Louise to Henri. October 4, 1869- Translation of letter from Louise to Henri. Discusses the Tremoulet family visiting. November 14, 1869- Translation of letter from Louise to Henri. She wants him to talk to Fr. Goutrelet. She says Mr. Tremoulet will help him find a place(to live?) His daughter is in the convent with Louise. November 29, 1869- Translation of letter from Louise to Henri. Henri has dysentery. She sent him a 2 week prayer program in Emile’s letter. This letter is addressed at the home of Buchanan.
