A powerful testimony to the rich history of the antebellum south, Oak Alley invites visitors to explore all facets of her plantation past.

Explore 25 acres of historic grounds and take a guided tour of the "Big House". Learn about the impact the Civil War had on our region by visiting the Civil War Encampment Exhibit & witness the reconstructed slave quarters and tour the Slavery at Oak Alley Exhibit.

The Oak Alley experience invites guests to individually explore, at their own pace, Oak Alley while touring the grounds and exhibits. Tours of the Big House are offered on the hour and half hour and are guided. Be sure to allow at least 2 hours for your Oak Alley visit.

Photography is welcomed at Oak Alley Plantation, as long as it does not disrupt the guided tours. Videotaping and video-streaming are prohibited during guided tours. Selfie-sticks are not allowed inside the Big House tours.

For safety reasons, the use of "drones" or any aerial photography devices is not permitted.
