* Denotes estimated date based on available records. Pierre is not listed in the 1848 inventory (R8.198). He would have been about seven years old by that time. At that age, he would have been listed with his mother. There is no corresponding Pierre mentioned in the document at all. This suggests Pierre passed away before May of 1848. A slave sale showing that Pierre was sold has yet to be found.
